Hi friends — quick monthly update on Quaestor.

TL;DR (30 seconds)

  • Win: We are live in production! Anyone can sign up for an account or can poke around in a fully-fleshed out demo environment

  • Momentum: over twenty new conversations (with a special interest from consultants wanting to leverage our tool for their clients) and a dozen new demos this month alone

  • Ask: If you could introduce us to anyone making their first operations or Chief of Staff hire (details below).

What we’re building (for newcomers)
Quaestor turns “tribal knowledge + dead docs” into a living operational map (Roles ↔ Processes ↔ Systems) so teams can answer “who does what/how/where” instantly, cutting down on questions to management, time spent asking for answers, and getting new employees up-to-speed.

For operators / potential buyers (feel free to skip if you’re just here to cheer us on!)

This month’s proof of work

  • Moved Quaestor onto a dedicated production setup → smoother scaling as usage grows

  • Added invite-by-email for new teammates → fast, friendly onboarding (no hand-holding)

  • Launched self-serve signup → now anyone can try it right away and decide on payment later

Metrics (leading indicators)

  • New conversations started: 27

  • Qualified leads added: 6

  • Demos run: 12

  • Verbal commits / “yes pending timing”: 4

  • Content: 10,000 impressions across dozens of posts and long-form articles

What we learned (tactical)

  • Messaging that gets replies: “Don’t let your first ops hire be a money pit

  • Biggest friction right now: Operations isn’t a priority until it’s an emergency. But we knew that going in.

  • What buyers actually want first: TIME. Which is why we’re offering a “Done For You” implementation package.

  • Next experiment: FREEMIUM, for the high-agency employees who want to show it off to their boss.

Asks (easy to forward)

  1. Warm intro to a business where they’re “ready to step up our operations and hire an expert.” Before they do that, we can help them set their new leader up for success.

    • Profile: Typically 6-20 employees, $500k+ in revenue, is trying to grow, sell, or delegate the business

    • Problem: onboarding hires is slow, everything requires the owner’s decision, people are making simple mistakes repeatedly

    • If that’s someone you know, reply and I’ll send a 2-sentence blurb to forward.

  2. Partner intros (people with many small to medium business clients)

    • Fractional COOs, EOS implementers, MSPs, HR/recruiting firms, M&A advisors

    • If you know one, I’d love a quick intro.

  3. Beta customers

    • If you’re curious to see it, I’ll show you a 10-min demo: reply “demo” and I’ll send a link.

Best of this month:

  • The $300k Lesson | why it matters: make sure you know what’s really locked down in your business before you bring in someone to help fix it.

  • Rule Given Over to Lesser Men | why it matters: Small businesses are the heart of what makes America great. Giving them the tools to be the best they can be is why we do what we do.

All the best!
Danny
